Box Score FLORENCE, S.C. – The Barton women's soccer team (4-2-1, 1-1) fell to Francis Marion (3-1-2, 3-0-1) by a 2-1 score Wednesday afternoon in a Conference Carolinas match at Hartzler Field.
The Patriots' Kristina Syragakis (Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, CANADA) scored both goals of the contest included the match-winner in the 68th minute as the home team finally broke through on the Bulldogs, who had registered five straight shutouts prior to the contest. Syragakis scored just 5:04 into the match as well.

Jenessa Gray (Orlando, Fla.) scored her third goal of the year in the 51st minute off a pass from sophomore midfielder
Lily Brooks (Wesley Chapel, Fla.), who was credited with the assist.
Francis Marion held a 12-6 edge in shots taken while Erin Grabeel (Gordonsville, Va.) picked up the victory in goal. Grabeel made one save while Barton senior
Taylor Primack (Lindenhurst, Ill.) suffered the loss despite four saves and saw her scoreless streak stopped at 455:49 minutes.
Barton faces Young Harris in Young Harris, Ga., in a league match on Saturday starting at 2:00 p.m., while Francis Marion hosts Shaw on Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
