FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – The Barton women's tennis team (14-3, 7-1) pulled out a 4-3 victory over Emmanuel (Ga.) (9-10, 5-4) Saturday morning in a Conference Carolinas match at Lions Court.
Barton was led by junior
Silvia Fernandez-Trabadelo (Mataro, SPAIN), who earned victories at second singles and second doubles for the visitors.

Irma Granstam (Linkoping, SWEDEN) are now 14-1 in doubles action including a perfect 8-0 in league play for the Bulldogs.
Barton remains on the road to take on Young Harris on Sunday at 11:00 a.m., in Franklin Springs, Ga., in the regular season finale while Emmanuel next competes in the 2024 Conference Carolinas Championship beginning on Friday, April 26, at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, S.C.
The Bulldogs can clinch at least a share of the league regular season championship with a victory over the Mountain Lions.
