HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Barton baseball team (23-5) ran its winning streak to six games with a 10-3 win over Coker (16-11) Tuesday evening at Tom J. New Field.

James Holladay (Washington, D.C.) opened the scoring with a bases-clearing double as part of a four-run second frame as the Bulldogs swept the season series from the Cobras: Barton defeated Coker by a 20-8 score on Wednesday, February 21, at Nixon Field.
Barton graduate student outfielder
Matthew Rivera (Egg Harbor City, N.J.) rounded out the scoring with a two-run home run in the seventh inning while freshman outfielder
Gavin Gilmore (Eastampton, N.J.) also drove in three runs in the victory.
Barton senior
William Leonard (Roxboro, N.C.) improved to 2-0 on the year after earning the victory as he pitched the first three innings of the contest while Britton Adams (York, S.C.) (0-1) suffered the loss for the Cobras.
Barton hosts North Greenville in a Conference Carolinas doubleheader showdown on Sunday at Noon at Nixon Field while Coker visits Columbus, Ohio, to take on Ohio Dominican on Saturday in a doubleheader starting at Noon.
