YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – The Barton women's basketball team (7-19, 6-11) couldn't hold a 15-point advantage and suffered an overtime defeat to Young Harris (14-13, 10-7), 72-67, Saturday afternoon at The Harp Recreation and Commencement Center.
The Mountain Lions' Crystal Corley (Milledgeville, Ga.) tallied a double-double – 24 points and 12 rebounds – as Young Harris rallied from two 15-point deficits – 37-22 and 46-31 – in the third period to earn the win.

Lauren Walker (Charlotte, N.C.) led all scorers with 25 points while sophomore guard
Lauren Mingo (Clinton, Md.) added 14 points but the Bulldogs suffered their sixth straight setback. Walker now ranks ninth on the school's all-time scoring list for points in the NCAA Division II era with 1,347.
The Mountain Lions forced overtime when Lilly Griffith (Waleska, Ga.) hit a three-pointer with 27 seconds left in the second half to tie the game at 61-all before Young Harris used an 8-0 run in the overtime session to take control.
Young Harris' Dustie Obah (Woombye, Queensland, Australia) and Jamari Frederick (Blythewood, S.C.) both scored 12 points while Obah hit the game-winning three for the home team. Young Harris also held a 50-32 edge in rebounding and forced the Bulldogs into 22 turnovers.
Barton remains on the road to take on rival Mount Olive in a league contest and the regular season finale on Wednesday, February 28, at 5:00 p.m., in Mount Olive, N.C., while Young Harris faces North Greenville in Tigerville, S.C., on Wednesday beginning at 5:00 p.m., as well.
