WILSON, N.C. – The Barton men's basketball team (10-13, 7-6) snapped a two-game losing streak with a 93-68 victory over Southern Wesleyan (3-20, 2-11) in a Conference Carolinas game at Wilson Gymnasium.

Sean Quick-Streeter (Columbia, S.C.) scored a career-high 27 points and hit five three-pointers as the Bulldogs jumped out to a 33-7 lead just over nine minutes into the contest and never looked back in the win.
The Bulldogs, who connected on 15 three-pointers in the game, shot 51 percent (36-of-71) from the field in winning their fourth straight home affair. Barton senior guard
Jett Fortuny (Cary, N.C.) also connected on five treys and finished with 16 points in the triumph.
Southern Wesleyan, which lost its sixth straight game, received 19 points from Eric Hackett (Lexington, Ky.) but the Warriors didn't produce their first field goal until seven minutes into the contest and trailed by as many as 29 points – 62-33 with 16:38 remaining in the game – and fell to 1-11 on the road.
Barton remains at home to take on UNC Pembroke on Thursday at 7:00 p.m., in a league contest while Southern Wesleyan hosts Young Harris on Wednesday beginning at 7:00 p.m.
