WILSON, N.C. – The Barton women's basketball team (5-3, 2-0) remained unbeaten in Conference Carolinas play with an 85-68 win over Erskine (2-4, 1-2) Saturday afternoon at Wilson Gymnasium.

Lauren Walker (Charlotte, N.C.) combined for 51 points in the win.
Mingo finished with a career-high 30 points and added 12 rebounds for a double-double Walker finished with 21 points as the Bulldogs limited the Flying Fleet to just 28 percent (21-of-76) shooting for the contest.
Barton held a 42-33 advantage at halftime and led by as many as 21 points – 79-58 with 3:43 remaining in the contest – on its way to the easy victory. The Bulldogs were also powered by their performance from the charity stripe – 27-of-40 (67 percent) – and limited Erskine to just three treys on 22 attempts (14 percent).
Erskine was led by Ahriana Scott (Anderson, S.C.) with 14 points off the bench and the Flying Fleet held a 54-49 edge on the boards despite the setback.
Barton travels to Bluffton, S.C., to take on USC Beaufort on Tuesday, December 3, at 5:30 p.m., while Erskine returns home to host Lander Tuesday starting at 5:30 p.m.
