WILSON, N.C. – The Barton women's basketball team (6-13, 5-5) pulled out a 70-60 win over Lees-McRae (1-14, 0-10) Saturday afternoon in a Conference Carolinas contest at Wilson Gymnasium.
Barton sophomore guard
Lauren Mingo (Clinton, Md.) led all scorers with 23 points while senior guard

Lees-McRae's Leah Barringer (Charlotte, N.C.) led the visitors with 16 points and was one of four players to reach double figures for the Bobcats but the squad was doomed by 33 turnovers and shot just 20 percent (four-of-20) from behind the three-point line.
The Bulldogs led by as many as 19 points – 65-46 with 3:34 left in the contest – and scored 31 points off of Bobcats' turnovers. Barton freshman center
