WILSON, N.C. – The Barton men's tennis team (4-8, 1-1) got nipped by Francis Marion (7-5, 2-0), 4-3, in a Conference Carolinas match Tuesday afternoon at the Bulldogs' complex.
The Bulldogs won two of the three doubles' matches but the Patriots rallied to take four of the singles' contests and remain unbeaten in league play.

Felipe Mioch (Diemen, NETHERLANDS) did earn a third straight victory at No. 3 doubles, besting Francis Marion's Harri-Lloyd Evans (Newport, South Wales, UNITED KINGDOM) and Adam Ernberg (Solvesborg, SWEDEN) by a score of 6-4.
Barton next hosts Lees-McRae on Friday, March 31, at 2:00 p.m., in a league match while Francis Marion returns home to face Belmont Abbey this Friday beginning at 2:00 p.m.
