GREENWOOD, S.C. – Barton junior running back
Jordan Terrell (Ramseur, N.C.) rushed for a record-breaking 403 yards to go along with four touchdowns to lead the Bulldogs (6-5, 4-5) to a 48-14 victory over Erskine (0-11, 0-9) in the regular season finale and a South Atlantic Conference Piedmont Division contest at J.W. Babb Stadium.
Terrell, who also scored four touchdowns, established new school and conference single-game records with the total and the 403 yards came close to the all-time NCAA Division II record. Connor Silveria of South Dakota School of Mines rushed for 425 yards against Adams State on October 13, 2018.
Terrell finished the season with 1,732 yards on the ground and 11 scores and has 5,487 yards rushing and 44 scores for his collegiate career. Terrell's total was also the fifth-highest single-game total over all NCAA Divisions.
Terrell gave the Bulldogs the lead for good with a 19-yard touchdown run on the final play of the first quarter to break a seven-all tie. Terrell added touchdown runs of 36, 65 and five yards to close out the scoring in the second half for Barton as the visitors outscored the Flying Fleet by a 28-0 margin after intermission.

Jaquan Lynch (Rocky Mount, N.C.) added two touchdown passes and one on the ground as the Bulldogs finished with a winning record for the second time in two seasons.
Erskine quarterback Craig Pender (Barnwell, S.C.) passed for 141 yards and a score in the losing effort. Barton limited Erskine to just 275 yards of total offense. Barton junior linebacker
