WILSON, N.C. – The Barton women's tennis team (7-10) snapped a two-match losing streak with a 7-0 home victory over Averett Sunday afternoon at the Bulldogs complex.
Freshmen 
Maren Kronsbein (Ellerau, GERMANY), 
Tilde Howeler (Stockholm, SWEDEN), 
Silvia Fernandez-Trabadelo (Barcelona, SPAIN) and senior 
Isabella Caballero (La Paz, BOLIVIA) all won at singles and doubles for the Bulldogs.
Kronsbein and Howeler won at first doubles while Fernandez-Trabadelo and Caballero teamed at second doubles to prevail over the visitors.  Meanwhile, Caballero has won four straight matches in singles play for Barton.
Barton next hosts Southern Wesleyan in a Conference Carolinas match on Friday, April 8, at 2:00 p.m., while Averett returns home to take on Mary Baldwin on Tuesday beginning at 3:00 p.m.
