WILSON, N.C. - The Barton men's volleyball team (6-6, 4-5) got back on the winning track by powering by King (Tenn.) (6-6, 3-4), 3-1, Friday evening at Wilson Gymnasium in a Conference Carolinas match.
Barton won by scores of 26-24, 38-36, 24-26 and 25-21 and snapped a three-match losing streak in the process.
Barton was led by junior outside hitter
Adrian Iglesias (Guaynabo, PUERTO RICO) with a match-high 23 kills while sophomore outside hitter
Nathan Chaparro (Glendale, Ariz.) added 21 kills as the Bulldogs were able to outlast the Tornado including a marathon second set after falling behind a 10-3 score in the stanza.

Moses Kresch (Hersey, Pa.) added a career-high 63 assists to go along with 10 digs as the Bulldogs avenged an earlier to the Tornado on the road. Senior middle blocker
Absalon Williams (Las Vegas, Nev.) totaled 10 kills and a team-high six blocks in the win as well.
King, which lost for the second straight match, was led by Joshua Kim (Garden Grove, Calif.) with 19 kills and 14 digs while J.T. Deppe (Mukwonago, Wisc.) added 48 assists in the setback. The Tornado also finished with 15.5 blocks in the loss.
In the next round of Conference Carolinas matches on Saturday afternoon, Barton hosts Lees-McRae at 3:30 p.m., while King faces Mount Olive in Mount Olive, N.C., beginning at 4:30 p.m.
