WISE, Va. – The Barton football team (6-5) concluded the Fall 2021 season with a winning campaign after downing UVA Wise (5-6), 36-24, Saturday afternoon at Carl Smith Stadium.

Jordan Terrell (Ramseur, N.C.) was the star of the show, rolling to a career-high 296 yards and scoring on touchdown runs of four and 64 yards, respectively, in the victory. Terrell finishes the year with 1,843 yards rushing and 15 scores.

Jaquan Lynch (Rocky Mount, N.C.) added 183 yards through the air and two touchdowns as the Bulldogs broke a seven-all tie with 20 straight points to take control.
Redshirt freshman wide receiver
Kameron Johnson (Rocky Mount, N.C.) scored the game-winning touchdown for the Bulldogs on a nine-yard reception at the 6:26 mark of the first quarter. Johnson finished with 97 yards receiving on five catches as Barton rolled up 483 yards of total offense in the win.

Kendarius Jenkins (Tarboro, N.C.) and redshirt freshman linebacker
Shane Perry (Holly Springs, N.C.) led the defense with nine tackles each while Jenkins added two interceptions in the win. Perry finished the season with 99 tackles while Jenkins led the squad with five picks this fall.
UVA Wise's Lendon Redwine (Gate City, Va.) threw for 292 yards and two scores but was picked off twice and three turnovers led to 10 points for the Bulldogs.
Barton redshirt freshman wide receiver
Jacquez Durham (Clayton, N.C.) added a 51-yard touchdown reception late in the first quarter as the visitors scored 21 points in the opening stanza.
