Todd Clark will begin his first season as women's soccer coachat Barton College in 2014-15. Clark joined the Barton staff afterserving in the same role for the past eight seasons at CampbellUniversity, and the eight years prior to those at Malone Universityin Canton, Ohio.
Clark led the Fighting Camels of the NCAA Division I ranks to arecord of 168-117-10 between 2006 and 2013. In 2011, Campbellreached the Big South Tournament finals after finishing second inthe regular-season standings following a 15-5-2 campaign.
During his tenure at Campbell, Clark recruited and developed 30conference award winners, including six First-Team selections overthe past three seasons. His teams were also consistently successfulin the classroom, as all eight were recognized with a NationalSoccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team AcademicAward.
Clark was hired at Campbell in 2006 after eight highlysuccessful seasons leading the women's soccer program at his almamater, known then as Malone College.
During his time at Malone, Clark directed the Pioneers of theNAIA ranks to two American Mideast Conference titles and a pair ofleague runner-up finishes. His squads reached the final four ofNAIA Region IX four times, with the 2003 team winning the regiontitle and advancing to the NAIA national tournament.
His Malone teams were ranked among the NSCAA/NAIA Top 25 poll insix straight seasons (2000-05), and he was named NCCAA East RegionCoach of the Year on four occasions. His program produced 18 NSCAAAll-Americans and 44 all-conference selections. In the classroom,his final seven teams earned a NSCAA Team Academic Award.
Throughout his 16 years at Malone and Campbell, Clark has servedas a staff member for the Olympic Development Program, and for thepast several years he has also worked with the Northern Ireland(IFA) women's national team.
Clark holds a Premier Diploma and a Level II and III GoalkeeperDiploma from the NSCAA as well as an Irish FootballAssociation-UEFA "A" License.
In addition to his undergraduate degree in social studies fromMalone, Clark also earned a master's degree in sports science fromAshland University in 1998. He will teach at Barton as a member ofthe physical education and sports studies faculty.
