Rob Dooley is in his fourth season as assistant coach forBarton. Dooley is familiar with the Barton program since he was anassistant coach at Wingate, who played in the 2007 Elite Eight atthe same time as Barton. Dooley served as an assistant at Wingatefor six seasons.

Prior to that, Dooley, was an assistant at Gardner-Webb for twoyears, the Citadel for one season, Campbell for two years andChowan University for two seasons.

Dooley attended Western New England College in Springfield,Mass. (site of the D-II Elite Eight) and graduated with a Bachelorof Science in Human Resource Management in 1994. He was point guardduring his final three years with the Golden Bears and helped themto their first NCAA D-III Tournament appearance. 

Dooley has served as Barton's Compliance Coordinator andcontinues to assist the compliance office. His primary duties withthe Barton basketball team are: recruiting, individual skillinstruction, weight training and conditioning, coordinatingacademic progress and directing film operations and exchanges.
