Francesca Harvey, MAT, LAT, ATC, joined the Barton College Athletic Training staff in August of 2020 and was elevated to Associate Head Athletic Trainer in the summer of 2025.  

Three years ago, Harvey was promoted to Associate Athletic Trainer after spending three years an an assistant.  Harvey will oversee the following teams in 2026-27:  men's soccer, men's and women's basketball and men's and women's tennis.

Harvey received her bachelor of science in athletic training from the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont.  During her time at Vermont, Harvey worked with the men’s basketball and men’s lacrosse and club sports teams (namely football and men’s rugby).  Additionally, Harvey worked with South Burlington and Colchester High Schools during her time in the state of Vermont.

Harvey then went on to Old Dominion University as a graduate assistant where she worked with the sixteen club sports teams ranging from ice hockey to rugby to soccer, covering home games and tournaments, practices and a rehabilitation clinic.  Harvey received her master of science from ODU in athletic training.

Harvey is a native of Georgia, Vermont, and enjoys watching sports, baking and exploring the outdoors in her free time.  Harvey and her fiancee, Drew, reside in Wilson, N.C.
