Alexander Bruno is entering his first year as an Assistant Coach for the Barton Men's and Women's Cross Country and Track and Field Teams in 2022-23.

Bruno spent the past year as an Assistant Coach for the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country & Track and Field Teams in Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, La.

A 2019 graduate of Valparaiso University with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and secondary education, Bruno starred on the Beacons’ men’s cross country & track and field teams.  Bruno was the 2020 Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Mile Champion and was a two-time All-Missouri Valley Conference honoree in cross country (2019-20).

Bruno, who also received his master’s degree in analytics and modeling from Valparaiso, was the 2020 Missouri Valley Track and Field Scholar Athlete of the Year.
