WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Barton men's and women's track and field teams opened the outdoor portion of their schedule at UNC Wilmington's Seahawk Invitational Saturday at the Greene Track and Field Complex.
Barton senior
Keiarra Tutt (Bayboro, N.C.) and sophomore
Brandon Waller (Cabot, Ark.) were the top finishers, taking fourth overall in the women's 100-meter dash (12.06 seconds) and the men's 400-meter dash (48.48), respectively.
The Bulldogs also had a top-five finish in the women's 100-meter dash courtesy of sophomore
Angel Agyeman (Greensboro, N.C.) with a time of 12.11 seconds.
The Barton women's 400-meter relay squad – Tutt, Agyeman, junior
Erica McClary (Salisbury, N.C.) and sophomore
Shaliah Jones (Greenville, N.C.) – took second overall with a time of 46.93 seconds.
Barton track returns to action on Friday, March 13, when the Bulldogs compete in the Phoenix Invitational on the campus of Elon University.
