WILSON, N.C. – The Barton women's basketball team (11-10, 7-6), with the absence of several key players, stepped up to defeat North Greenville (5-14, 5-8), 67-60, Saturday afternoon in a Conference Carolinas contest at Wilson Gymnasium.

Skylar Quillet (Garner, N.C.) added a monster double-double – 11 points and 17 rebounds – as the Bulldogs swept the season series from the Trailblazers.
Barton won over North Greenville by a 69-64 score on Monday, January 20, in Tigerville, S.C.
North Greenville was paced by Amaijah Smith (Gulfport, Miss.) with 24 points and Abi Oates (Register, Ga.) added 17 points and hit five treys in the losing effort.
Barton held a 31-28 advantage at halftime and stretch its advantage to as many as 18 points – 64-46 with just under five minutes remaining in the contest – and cruised from there. Barton held North Greenville to 35 percent shooting (21-of-60) and forced the Trailblazers into 20 turnovers.
Barton hits the road to take on Francis Marion on Wednesday beginning at 5:30 p.m., in Florence, S.C., while North Greenville hosts Belmont Abbey on Wednesday, February 8, at 5:00 p.m., in a league affair.
