WILSON, N.C. – The Barton men's tennis team (8-6, 5-0) remained perfect in Conference Carolinas play with a 6-1 win over Converse (7-7, 2-3) Friday afternoon in a Conference Carolinas match at Ralph L. Fike High School.
After losing their first six matches, the Bulldogs have now won eight straight contests.
The Bulldogs were led by sophomore
Felipe Mioch (Diemen, NETHERLANDS), who at first singles and third doubles to lead the home team.

Hannes Tylehed (Stockholm, SWEDEN) ran his winning streak to eight matches in singles' play while juniors
Johan Holgersson (Bromma, SWEDEN) and
Wilhelm Karlsson (Djursholm, SWEDEN) have won five consecutive contests at first doubles.
Barton remains at home to face Belmont Abbey in a league showdown Saturday at 11:00 a.m., while Converse takes on Chowan in Murfreesboro, N.C., on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m., as well.
