TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The Barton men's tennis team (4-6, 2-0) notched a 6-1 victory in a Conference Carolinas road contest over North Greenville (2-7, 1-1) Sunday afternoon at the Vance Complex.
A quartet of players for the Bulldogs – juniors
Johan Holgersson (Bromma, SWEDEN) and
Hannes Tylehed (Stockholm, SWEDEN) and sophomores
Felipe Mioch (Diemen, NETHERLANDS) and
Guillem Busquets Brau (Sabadell, SPAIN) – earned victories for the Bulldogs at singles and doubles play to lead the visitors to the win.
Barton has now won four straight matches and remained unbeaten in league play.
Barton returns home to take on Chowan in a conference match on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m., at Ralph L. Fike High School while North Greenville hosts Emory & Henry on Friday afternoon starting at 2:00 p.m.
