SAVANNAH, Ga. – Barton sophomore
Braeden Barnes took second place out of 71 competitors at the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) Men's Bowling Shootout which wrapped up this weekend at the Bowlero Savannah.
Barnes averaged 207.2 per game to tie for second overall (1,036 total) while SCAD's Kai Evans (Salt Lake City, Utah) was the individual champion after averaging 215.4 over five games (1,077).
Webber International was the team champion with 5,036 points while Barton (4,149) placed sixth overall out of nine schools.
Barton bowling returns to competition on Saturday, January 11, at the Greater Pittsburgh Classic at the Hillview Lanes in Greensburg, Pa.
