GREENVILLE, N.C. – The Barton men's and women's swimming teams competed this past Saturday at East Carolina University's Pirate Duels at the Minges Natatorium.
The Bulldogs competed against East Carolina, Gardner-Webb and Catawba on the women's side and the Indians and Runnin' Bulldogs in the men's competition.
Barton sophomore
Ryan Mcanallen (Saint Augustine, Fla.) placed fifth in both the men's 100-yard backstroke (54.52) and 200-yard backstroke (2:01.03) while junior
Ethan Robinson (Dacula, Ga.) also earned a fifth-place finish in the men's 100-yard freestyle (49.26).
Barton senior
Megan Schueller (La Plata, Md.) had the Bulldogs' top finish on the women's side, taking fifth place in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:07.04).
Barton faces nationally-ranked Wingate in a dual meet in the 2024-25 home opener this Saturday, October 12, at 1:00 pm., at the Harrison Family YMCA in Rocky Mount, N.C.
