WILSON, N.C. – The Barton women's tennis team (9-9, 5-2) celebrated Senior Day in style with a 5-2 victory over Emmanuel (8-9, 4-3) Monday afternoon in a Conference Carolinas contest at the Bulldogs complex.

Alexandra Saez Lozano (Begur, SPAIN) over Emmanuel's Lauren Castillon (Roquefort les pins, FRANCE) and Eve Robinson (Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND) at No. 3

Irma Granstam (Linkoping, SWEDEN) both prevailed at singles' and doubles' competition for Barton, who won its third straight contest.
In the next round of Conference Carolinas matches, Barton travels to Spartanburg, S.C., to take on Converse on Friday afternoon starting at 2:00 p.m., while Emmanuel takes on Chowan Tuesday at Noon in Murfreesboro, N.C.
