SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Barton College women's basketball team completed its regular season sweep of Conference Carolinas foe Converse College with an 88-58 win on Monday night in Hannah Gymnasium.

Barton (9-6, 6-3) defeated the Valkyries (4-9, 3-6) 73-56 in Wilson back on December 10 and has now won four straight against Converse and nine of the last 10 matchups on the court. The Lady Bulldogs led from start to finish after opening the game on a 10-2 run behind four baskets from Wynn and a layup from sophomore Ciera Williams. The Valkyries were unable to recover from the eraly deficit as BC led 28-9 following the first quarter and carried a 12-point lead into the halftime break.

Eight unanswered points put Barton ahead by 20 points to begin the second half with the Lady Bulldogs' largest lead coming with a 68-35 advantage with 8:06 remaining in the game. BC closed the contest on a 10-6 run to seal the road victory.

Wynn also pulled down 16 rebounds, including six on the offensive glass, as junior Karimah Dean chipped in 10 points off of the bench.
