CLEVELAND, Ohio – A total of 69 Barton College student-athletes were recipients of the 2018-19 Division II Athletic Directors Association (D2ADA) Academic Achievement Award.

The Academic Achievement Awards is a program that recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the NCAA Division II level.  A total of 11,660 student-athletes from 185 institutions were recognized for the 2018-19 Academic Achievement Awards.

The student athlete must have 1) a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 score, 2) have attended a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college level work, 3) have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during his or her last academic year.

The D2 ADA is the first organization of its kind to provide educational and networking opportunities, enhancement of acceptable operating standards and ethic and establishment of the overall prestige and understanding of the profession of Division II athletics directors.
