WILSON, N.C. – The Barton College softball team will hold a benefit fundraiser for the Raleigh location of GiGi's Playhouse in conjunction with today's doubleheader against St. Andrews University.

Special jerseys will be worn for the games, and fans attending the games will be able to bid on those jerseys throughout the afternoon. The bid sheets will begin at $30. Donations will also be sought at an admissions table, and all proceeds will go to the charity.

GiGi's Playhouse provides a unique series of Achievement Centers across the United States and Mexico serving children and adults with Down syndrome. All educational, therapeutic and career training programs are offered to families at no charge. All programs aim to maximize acceptance and self-confidence, and empower children and adults to achieve their greatest potential.
