WILSON, N.C. – Barton College softball coach Junior Bailey is pleased to announce the signing of four student-athletes for 2018-19 during the early signing period.

The early signees for the 2018-19 class include:

  • Mary B. Dixon, C/UTIL, Washington High School, Washington, N.C.
  • Sidney Gronowski, OF, Cape Fear High School, Fayetteville, N.C.
  • Christine McLean, C/UTIL, Topsail High School, Hampstead, N.C.
  • Gracen Rogers, OF, Lawrence Academy, Merry Hill, N.C.

"Sidney played for the 2017 4A state runners-up at Cape Fear, and will be a great player for us in the outfield," Bailey said. "She has been committed to playing for Barton since the spring of 2017. Christine comes from a strong program at Topsail High School, and is going to be a great addition to the Bulldog program. Mary B. comes from a strong program at Washington High School, and Gracen will roam the outfield with Sidney for the Bulldogs. I am very pleased that these four young ladies have chosen to join our program."
