Barton men’s golf takes 13th overall at the seventh annual McDonough Cup

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Barton men's golf team wrapped up the 2018 fall season with a 13th-place finish at the seventh annual McDonough Cup which concluded Tuesday at the Rio Pinar Country Club.

The Bulldogs shot a 903 (+39) on the par-72, 6,955-yard course while No. 24 Rollins – the host institution – won the tournament with an 871 (+7) after 54 holes of play.

Barton was led by sophomore Bryson Boyette (Wilson, N.C.), who shot a 224 (+8) and tied for 30th overall.  Meanwhile, senior Justin Plane (Whitby, Ontario, CANADA) tied for 33rd overall after carding a nine-over 225.  Columbus State's Jordan Doull was the top individual with a five-under 211.

Once again, the tournament concludes the fall campaign for the Bulldogs.
