Barton was one of two teams from Conference Carolinas and four from the Southeast Region among the 48 NCAA Division II programs on the list nationally.

The 2016-17 roster included seniors Kyle Gaster, Brian Reneau and Tyler Robbins, juniors Travis Broome, Turner Garris, Derek Hamm and Dennis Hering, sophomores Brandon Munford, Scott Pechacek, Justin Plane and Logan Zimarino, and freshman Dominic O'Brien.
