Three Barton men’s basketball players honored for academic success by NABC

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Three members of the Barton College men's basketball program have been honored for their academic success by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

Chris Cook, Bobby Stenborg and Matt Woods have all been named to the 2017-18 NABC Honors Court. The award recognizes juniors and seniors with at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average.

Cook, is a junior from Knoxville, Tenn., majoring in mass communication. Stenborg is a junior from Garner, N.C., majoring in business administration, and Woods is a junior from Swannanoa, N.C., majoring in sports management.

The Barton student-athletes were among eight players representing Conference Carolinas institutions named to the Honors Court.
