HIGH POINT, N.C. – Barton College sophomore Isaiah Buck-Lowman has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.

Buck-Lowman was honored after scoring a career-high 29 points in leading the Bulldogs in a 100-97 road victory over Tusculum. The 6-6 forward from Woodbridge, Va., was 10-of-13 from the field and a perfect 7-of-7 from the free throw line in the contest.

After Tusculum trimmed a double-digit deficit down to three points with just under eight minutes to go, Buck-Lowman scored eight straight points for BC to stop the Pioneers' momentum. He added three rebounds, four assists and two steals for the Bulldogs, which have now won five straight and seven of their last eight.

Barton has now received the award each of the past three weeks. Michael Boykin was selected two weeks ago and Zach Grant last week.

Buck-Lowman is being honored as player of the week for the first time this season and for the third time in his career.
